The ROC’s Mission

The mission of the ROC de l’Estrie is to bring together non-profit community organizations from the 05 administrative region (Estrie), to protect, advocate for, promote and enhance community expertise, ideology and interests.

Mission and Objectives

The mission of the ROC de l’Estrie is to bring together non-profit community organizations from the 05 administrative region (Estrie), to protect, advocate for, promote and enhance community expertise, ideology and interests.

Specifically, our mission is to:


1.     Foster collaboration and consultation with members and other local and regional community services;

2.     Promote and defend common interests of community organizations and the people they serve;

3.     Promote the expertise of community organizations to the public and partners;

4.     Become a preferred representative when dealing with decision-making authorities;

5.     Distribute information among the ROC de l’Estrie members, associations and board members of the Régie régionale;

6.     Encourage discussion and action among members in order to develop a common social and political analysis;

7.     Offer technical support to community organizations.
